Product Features of 2-EHS

2-EHS is non-toxic and tasteless, has good permeability, fluidity, thixotropy, spreadability and smoothness, and has the effect of increasing gloss. Has the function of softening the skin.
Compared with isopropyl ester, the cosmetics prepared by 2-EHS have more delicate appearance, good gloss, thixotropy, air permeability, water permeability, softness and safety. This product has a lower freezing point, and the production operation in winter is much more convenient than IPP.
2-EHS has anti-enzymatic decomposition and antioxidant effects.
2-EHS has good compatibility with other cosmetic components. It can be used as a solvent for pigments, vitamins, preservatives, etc.

Application and Dosage of 2-EHS

Cosmetics: It has excellent penetration, moisturizing and softening effects on the skin. It is widely used in skin care products and makeup remover oils. It is often used in the formulations of foundation cream, sunscreen, eye shadow, lipstick, mascara, etc.
Detergent: used as a softener and extender in formulas such as shower gel, conditioner or hair dye.
Lubricant: used in metal cutting fluid and rolling fluid with good lubricity and annealing cleanliness.
Solvent: 2-EHS has low viscosity and low volatility, and can be used as a solvent to replace mineral oil and aromatic solvents in inks, pesticides, etc.
