paraffin treatment

What is paraffin treatment? Paraffin wax is a collective term for a good mix of solid alkanes. Below is a summary of how to write the chemical formula of paraffin, the uses of paraffin and its composition.

Chemical formula of paraffin wax: CnH2n + 2, where n = 20-40.

What is paraffin wax? Paraffin wax is a waxy white solid with a slight odor. It can be made from a waxy fraction of natural or artificial petroleum by cold pressing or solvent dewaxing, sweating and other methods.

paraffin wax

Paraffin wax is a solid crystalline product derived from petroleum.

It is a mixture of different hydrocarbons, i.e. hydrocarbons with different molecular weights. It consists mainly of normal paraffin treatment and some solid isoparaffins, cycloalkanes and small amounts of aromatic hydrocarbons.

Commercially available paraffin treatment generally have a carbon number of 22–36, a molecular weight of 360–540, and a boiling point of 300–550 °C.

As the molecular weight increases, the boiling point and melting point of paraffin wax increase.

The normal paraffin in the composition decreases and isoparaffin and solid naphthene increase.

The chemical composition of paraffin treatment from different crude oils is also different.

Yellow paraffin wax or low refined wax contains traces of non-hydrocarbon components.

Although these complex organic sulfur, nitrogen and oxygen compounds contain only traces, the stability of paraffin is significantly reduced.

Since some condensed-ring aromatic hydrocarbons in a small amount of aromatic compounds in paraffin are harmful to the human body, paraffins are used in food and pharmaceutical industries.

Therefore, condensed-ring aromatic hydrocarbons are used.

It must be smaller than the previously specified index.

In some laboratory analyzes of paraffin treatment mass spectrometers.

When the chemical composition data for each fraction is divided by the number of carbon atoms in the molecule.

All the fractions with the fewest carbon atoms in the molecule are normal alkanes.

The proportion of carbon atoms increases, the content of isoparaffins and cycloalkanes increases and the aromatics in the wax only occur in the carbon-rich fraction.

Therefore, under the same purification conditions in a typical commercial paraffin wax.

The aromatic hydrocarbon content of the molten ring of the low grade wax is lower than the content of the high grade wax.

Paraffin wax is a mixture of hydrocarbons and therefore does not have the precise melting point of pure compounds.

The melting point of so-called paraffin wax is the temperature at which the stagnation phase first appears on the cooling curve when the molten paraffin sample is cooled under certain conditions.

All kinds of wax products need paraffin wax with excellent heat resistance.

That is, it does not melt, soften or deform at a certain temperature.

Commercially available paraffin waxes should have many different melting points depending on the conditions of use, area of use and time of use, and use environment.

The main factor influencing the melting point of paraffin wax is the weight of the selected raw material fraction.

The melting point of paraffin wax in heavy fractions is high. Also, the oil has a major impact on the melting point of paraffin treatment.

The more oil contained in the paraffin wax, the lower the melting point.

  •  What is paraffin treatment

Paraffin wax is a mixture of hydrocarbons obtained from certain refineries, including oils, shale or other bituminous mineral oils. Paraffin is amorphous but has a transparent crystalline structure.

Another synthetic paraffin treatment.

Paraffin wax is a type of refined petroleum product, a type of mineral wax and a type of oil wax.

It is a needle-shaped film or crystal obtained from a portion of the lubricant obtained by distilling crude oil with a solvent, removing the wax with a solvent, or cooling and pressing the wax to remove it.

Remove the wax and wash with a solvent.

Used to make fatty acids, high alcohol, wood matches, waxes, waterproofing, creams, electrical insulation materials and more.

It is divided into three categories, fully refined paraffin and partially refined paraffin, depending on the degree of purification and purification.

Purified paraffin and slack paraffin.

Each type of wax is divided into marks, for example 52, 54, 56, 58, usually every 2°C, depending on the melting temperature.

Crude wax is rich in oil and is mainly used in the production of matches, fiberboard and fabrics.

  • What is paraffin used for paraffin treatment?

It is made by covering a candle made of paper, cardboard or a thin cloth. Paraffin is water resistant.

After soaking the paper in paraffin treatment, you can make a sufficiently moist paper that can be used for food, pharmaceutical, other packaging, anti-corrosive metals, printing.

The addition of paraffin to the cotton thread makes the fabric soft, smooth and elastic.

Paraffin can also be used in detergents, emulsifiers, dispersants, plasticizers, oils and other substances.

Paraffin is oxidized. Fully refined paraffin wax and semi-refined paraffin wax are widely used.

It is mainly used as raw material and packaging material for oral and pharmaceutical products, as a coating material for some products (paraffin paper, pastel, candles, carbon paper, etc.), and for dryers and canned fruits.

Insulated electrical components that improve the wear resistance and elasticity of the rubber. It can also be used as an oxidant to produce synthetic fatty acids.

Humble replacement therapy uses action to conduct heat and is commonly used in some chronic joint disorders.

The total melting point of paraffin wax is 30-70°C.

Medical paraffin is obtained by mixing paraffin and mineral oil in a ratio of 6:1 or 7:1. After adding mineral oil, the melting temperature can be reduced to 50 degrees.

Mineral oil is also lubricating and can easily remove paraffin after processing.

Due to the low temperature of paraffin, it will not burn even if exposed to high temperature water.

Heat conduction is also slower than the heat transfer coefficient and of course the ground movement is slower, reducing the risk of burning.

Due to the low heat of paraffin treatment, using paraffin as a curing agent does not burn at a higher temperature than using warm water as a curing aid.

As there is little heat conduction, the dough heats up slowly, preventing the dough from overheating.

Paraffin oil moisturizes the skin. Suitable for edge applications. Softens the skin and increases tissue elasticity.

Moist heat is comfortable. Clean and dry the treatment area. After removing the decorations (rings, etc.), pause, open the treatment head, immerse in paraffin and remove.

The paraffin treatment chips form a solid on the surface.

Follow these tips. After repeating 8 to 12 times, wrap it in a well-ventilated plastic bag and wrap it in a towel to keep it warm.

If the legs are close to the tumor due to fever, the legs can be raised above the height of the heart before the end of treatment.

Paraffin wax Paraffin wax is an important component in the separation of animal and plant tissues and is an important material in biology, medicine, disease and immunochemistry.

Currently, various types of paraffin are used in China. Highly soluble paraffin is hard, difficult to cut, and not smooth, but can be cut into thin strips.

Low solubility paraffin treatment has low hardness and low chip support
